We are looking for an experienced Cyber Platform Engineer / Platform Operations Engineer to support the administration, maintenance and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, compliance and operational integrity of key cybersecurity technologies, including Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls, Carbon Black EDR, CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Cloudflare security services.
This role requires strong hands-on cybersecurity and enterprise networking experience, with a focus on platform administration, preventive maintenance, vulnerability remediation, security reviews and operational support.
Administer, maintain and support enterprise cybersecurity platforms, including Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Carbon Black EDR, CyberArk PAM and Cloudflare.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, health checks, diagnostic activities, software patching and firmware upgrades for network security infrastructure.
Monitor and maintain perimeter firewall environments to ensure availability, performance and security compliance.
Perform firewall configuration reviews, security rule reviews and periodic hardware/software inventory reviews.
Conduct regular security log, user account and privileged access reviews to identify anomalies and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
Manage onboarding and offboarding of systems, endpoints, assets, users and privileged accounts across supported cybersecurity platforms.
Perform vulnerability remediation and security patching according to established patch management timelines and organisational requirements.
Support the operation and maintenance of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, including endpoint administration, policy management and security monitoring.
Administer Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including privileged account onboarding, access controls, account management and periodic access reviews.
Support Cloudflare security and DDoS mitigation services protecting internet-facing applications and infrastructure.
Investigate platform-related incidents, operational issues and security alerts and coordinate remediation with relevant technical teams and vendors.
Support cybersecurity assessments, compliance reviews and internal/external audits.
Follow established change management processes for system configuration changes, patches, upgrades and security enhancements.
Prepare preventive maintenance reports, operational documentation, security review reports and other technical documentation.
Coordinate with internal infrastructure, security and application teams as well as external vendors and service providers.
Ensure cybersecurity platform operations comply with organisational security policies, standards and applicable cybersecurity requirements.
Perform onsite maintenance and operational activities at designated secure premises across Singapore when required.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise networking, cybersecurity operations, network security or cybersecurity platform administration.
Strong hands-on experience administering Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls or equivalent enterprise firewall technologies.
Hands-on experience with Carbon Black EDR or equivalent enterprise Endpoint Detection and Response solutions.
Hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM or equivalent Privileged Access Management platforms.
Experience with Cloudflare, DDoS mitigation, Web Application Firewall (WAF), CDN or equivalent cloud-based security services.
Good understanding of enterprise networking concepts, firewall policies, network security and security architecture.
Experience with firewall configuration, rule management, firmware upgrades, patching, troubleshooting and log analysis.
Experience in vulnerability remediation, security patch management and cybersecurity operational processes.
Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance, security assessments, audit requirements and change management processes.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders.
Willing and able to perform onsite work at designated secure locations across Singapore when required.
Relevant certifications in Palo Alto Networks, CyberArk, Cloudflare, networking or cybersecurity will be advantageous.
Experience supporting cybersecurity platforms within Critical Information Infrastructure (CII), government, utilities or other highly regulated environments will be advantageous.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, security governance frameworks and operational security best practices.
