Customer Support Specialist - Taiwanese Market (Relocate to Penang)

About the Company

We are recruiting fluent in Mandarin speaking professionals (candidates from Taiwan are preferred) to join our Global Customer Support team in Penang, Malaysia. This position requires proficiency in Mandarin and English to provide quality service to customers in Asia.

About the Role

This position requires proficiency in both Mandarin and English to provide exceptional customer support to customers across Asia. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer support via phone, email, and live chat in both Mandarin and English.
• Guide customers through online ordering and payment processes.
• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and escalate urgent or complex issues when necessary.
• Accurately maintain customer records while adhering to company policies and data security requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance targets set by the company.

Qualifications Required

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Communication, English, or related fields are an advantage).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Preferred

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in any industry.
• Experience in a contact center, BPO, retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environment is advantageous.

Required Skills

• Fluent in Mandarin with clear pronunciation and excellent communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level, both spoken and written.
• Strong customer service orientation with patience and empathy.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with 90% accuracy or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer navigation.
