As a Customer Support Product Manager in Molex's Datacom division, you will lead the development and management of the high-speed interconnect product portfolio, shaping product roadmaps and ensuring our offerings remain competitive for data center and enterprise networking markets. You will support global customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across new product launches, shipping escalations, order fulfillment, and product support, providing strategic vision and execution to deliver high tech components that enable modern data superhighways.
Our Team
You will join Molex's Datacom division and work as part of a global, cross-functional Product Management team. The role interfaces regularly with product design engineering, signal integrity, manufacturing integration, program management, sales, test laboratories, R&D, plant teams, and senior leadership to deliver One Molex solutions to hyperscale and enterprise customers.
What You Will Do
- Support execution of the high speed interconnect product strategy and communicate production launch timing to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities that inform product direction.
- Serve as a primary interface to professional cross functional teams — including product design engineering, signal integrity, manufacturing integration, program management, sales, test labs, R&D, manufacturing, and senior leadership — to align product and delivery activities.
- Monitor product performance and market trends, using insights to recommend adjustments to product positioning and roadmap priorities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, the sales organization, and customer service teams to ensure product offerings meet market requirements and customer expectations.
- Support global customer engagement through travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations to strengthen partnerships and understand real world application and production issues.
- Build cross functional relationships with senior leadership, peers, and team members through team building activities and collaborative growth initiatives that reinforce operating as One Molex.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum 5 years of customer service or customer support experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP systems.
- Proven ability to plan and complete assignments with minimal direction, including meeting project schedules and managing risks.
- Experience working with global customers and cross functional teams (sales, engineering, manufacturing, program management).
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to visit customers, manufacturing sites, and global teams.

- Experience working with plant based (manufacturing) team members.
