Molex is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join the Supply Planning Department within the DataCom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between global entities and the plant, responsible for the customer demand fulfillment for both Radio Frequency (RF) and Liquid Cooling (LC) production lines.

Your mission is to ensure plant production is sustained through accurate forecast alignment, drive revenue goals through strategic shipping plans, and manage delivery risks. You will collaborate closely with Sales/BDM, Planners, Quality, and Production teams to handle urgent pull-ins, resolve order discrepancies, and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Our Team

Our team: Supply Planning team within the DataCom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division.

Project stakeholders: Planner, Manufacturing, Quality, PM/PjM, Warehouse, and Global BDM, CSR across multiple locations.

What You Will Do

  • Forecast & Order Management
    • Perform GSOP forecast comparisons and work with Sales/BDM to drive order entry to sustain plant production levels.
    • Monitor the SAP order desk, verifying part numbers, pricing accuracy, and Customer Requested Dates (CRD) to ensure delivery commitments are reasonable.
    • Identify and track new demand (STR, Planned Orders, STO) to facilitate timely work order releases for the plant.
  • Revenue & Shipping Execution
    • Partner with Planners to establish monthly revenue targets and manage the daily shipping plan to meet Plant and Segment goals.
    • Prioritize production and shipping schedules to accommodate urgent customer pull-in requests or recovery plans for late backlogs.
    • Coordinate with entities regarding unexpected costs, such as cancellation charges, expediting fees, or additional tooling/process expenses.
  • Quality & Change Management
    • Manage the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process for quality, design, or shipping errors, ensuring cases are updated in the portal for CQE action.
    • Support the Quality Notification (QN) process by communicating requirements clearly to entities to reduce customer claims.
    • Stay updated on Product Version Changes and production issues to ensure delivery schedules remain unaffected.
  • Others
    • Monitor stock health to reduce Slow-moving & Excess (S&E) inventory and eliminate over-shelf-life scrap
    • Maintain ISO Documentation and support internal/external audits to ensure process transparency
    • Implement PBM (Principle-Based Management) principles into daily decision-making to optimize value creation.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Order Management, or related manufacturing fields.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to negotiate cross-functionally with Sales, Planners, and Global Entities.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP (Order Monitor, STO, STR, Planned Orders).
  • Basic understanding of supply chain flows, lead times, and inventory management.

  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of identifying supply risks and driving resolutions independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other analysis tools for data management.
