Global Training Center (GTC) plays a critical role in transferring system knowledge from development to engineers supporting high‑volume manufacturing fabs around the world.
We are looking for a
DUV Equipment Instructor to join the
CS Global Training Center in Linkou, Taiwan. In this role, you will design and deliver technical training that equips engineers with the knowledge and skills required to
operate, maintain, and troubleshoot DUV scanner systems safely and effectively in real fab environments.
This position follows a
4‑
days‑
on / 3‑
days‑
off working schedule, designed to support sustainable workload while enabling global training operations.

This role is ideal for experienced engineers who are passionate about
sharing expertise, developing others, and shaping global best practices, while remaining closely connected to advanced lithography equipment and Customer Support operations.
Role and responsibilities
- Deliver technical training sessions on DUV lithography equipment for Customer Support engineers and selected customer engineers.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve high‑quality training programs using a blended learning approach, including: Instructor‑Led Training (ILT)/Web‑Based Training (WBT) /Case‑Based Learning (CBL)
- Animations and technical reference materials
- Maintain training machines, tools, and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and effective training conditions.
- Ensure all training activities comply with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with Development & Engineering (D&E) and Customer Support (CS) teams to keep training content aligned with system updates and real field needs.
- Support global training initiatives, including international training delivery and cross‑site collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience in technical training delivery, knowledge transfer, or structured technical instruction.
- Strong interest and aptitude in teaching, coaching, and developing others.
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to work in a shift‑based operating model and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or Customer Support.
- Background in lithography equipment (DUV experience is a strong plus).
- Proven experience with instructional design, didactics, or adult learning methodologies.
- Comfortable working in classroom, laboratory, and cleanroom environments.
- Experience working in a global or cross‑cultural environment.
Other Information
Location & Organization
- Base Location: Linkou, Taiwan
- Organization: Customer Support – Global Training Center (CS GTC)
- Reporting Line: Directly reporting to the TWTC Manager
Working Schedule
- 4 days on / 3 days off, 10 working hours per day
Shift types:
- Day Shift: 07:00 – 18:00
- Evening / Night Shift (when required): 16:00 – 03:00
Typical working patterns:
- Sunday to Wednesday, or
- Wednesday to Saturday
- Shift schedules are planned on a quarterly basis, and vacation plans are discussed in advance during scheduling.
- Evening or night shifts are arranged based on training demand, not on a continuous basis.
Travel Requirement
- Willingness to travel for training delivery and global collaboration.
- Travel includes domestic and international assignments, primarily to:
- Korea, China, and the United States
- Average travel time is approximately two weeks per quarter (around 30%), with schedules aligned to training programs whenever possible.
Training Environment
Training activities may take place in:
- Classroom settings
- Laboratory environments
- Cleanroom environments, depending on course design and training audience
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in theUnited States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.
- 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
