Role Overview
The Country Manager will be responsible for setting up and leading Nabati's operations in Taiwan. This is a strategic role requiring a seasoned FMCG professional with proven experience in establishing market presence, building teams, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with hands-on execution to deliver results in a highly competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish Nabati's business operations in Taiwan, including market entry planning, organizational setup, and team recruitment.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales, distribution, and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and business partners.
- Lead brand-building and trade marketing activities tailored to local consumer preferences.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, business practices, and corporate policies.
- Represent Nabati as the local brand ambassador, ensuring alignment with global vision and values.
- Manage P&L responsibility and provide regular performance updates to regional headquarters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in setting up or expanding FMCG businesses in Taiwan.
- Strong network with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in the Taiwanese market.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, retail landscape, and regulatory environment in Taiwan.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
