Job Description
- Take full ownership of Taiwan P&L, ensuring financial and performance targets are achieved. This includes planning budgets, managing expenses, and providing regular performance reports and forecasts.
- Conduct indepth market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages. Set market targets, define strategic priorities, determine key investments, source potential partnerships, and lead initiatives that expand market presence and market share.
- Scale and develop Taiwan sales team by overseeing daily operations, coaching team members, and defining hiring plans across functions to support business expansion.
- Own market-level sales performance and partner closely with marketing and growth teams to design customer acquisition and retention strategies. This includes campaign development, cluster analysis, retention improvement, and marketing spend optimization.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient processes, smooth workflows, rapid issue resolution, and top-tier customer service-delivering an exceptional endtoend customer experience.
- Build and enhance the operational and commercial infrastructure needed to support long-term, scalable growth in Taiwan.
- Work closely with product, operations, and technology teams at HQ to translate local market needs into actionable plans and ensure consistent support for Taiwan operations.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in a managerial role-ideally in a fast-growing startup, management consulting, or finance. Background in retail or wholesale is a plus but not required.
- Highly driven with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building a business from the ground up.
- Exceptionally organized and selfsufficient, with strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with HQ teams.
- Ability to both lead through influence and execute with precision.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and rapidly changing environments.
- Strong analytical abilities and confidence in making datadriven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize insights clearly and effectively.
- Sociable, customerfocused, and energized by engaging new prospects.
- Competitive and motivated by achieving (and exceeding) targets.
