Job Description

Company Overview
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company providing digital payment and cross-border payment solutions to merchants and businesses across multiple international markets. The company operates across several countries and regions and is expanding its Singapore operations.

We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead the Singapore business operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, and support regulatory and commercial development activities.

Job Responsibilities
. Develop and execute strategic business plans and operational initiatives for the Singapore market
. Oversee daily business operations including business development, partnerships, compliance coordination, administration, and financial management
. Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives
. Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, payment partners, regulators, and key stakeholders
. Support the company's payment licence application and regulatory compliance activities in Singapore
. Monitor market trends, business performance, and operational KPIs to support sustainable business growth
. Lead, manage, and mentor local team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards
. Collaborate closely with regional management teams on business and operational initiatives

Requirements
. Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or related disciplines
. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in fintech, payments, financial services, eCommerce, or related industries
. At least 5 years of leadership or senior management experience
. Experience in cross-border payments, digital payment solutions, banking partnerships, financial institution engagement, or related business functions will be advantageous
. Familiarity with Singapore's financial services and payment regulatory environment will be advantageous
. Experience supporting payment licence application processes or regulatory compliance matters is preferred
. Strong communication, stakeholder management, business development, and leadership skills
. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
. Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages may be advantageous for regional communication and stakeholder engagement
