As part of its continued investment in the Asia region, the company is seeking a transformative and visionary Country General Manager to lead and redefine its business in Taiwan.
The Country General Manager, Taiwan, will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the company's strategy and driving business transformation in a competitive and fast-evolving market. This position carries full P&L responsibility and requires a leader with proven ability to execute change, inspire teams, and deliver strong business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to drive business transformation and strengthen the company's position in the Taiwan market.
- Formulate and implement market strategies that accelerate growth, enhance brand equity, and maximize commercial opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities, including retail network expansion and diversification of distribution channels.
- Drive operational excellence across marketing, sales, ecommerce, finance, supply chain, and customer experience functions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, financial discipline, and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering collaboration, empowerment, and accountability.
- Act as a change agent to reshape organizational capability, instill a performance-driven culture, and lead the team through business transformation.
- Serve as a trusted representative of the organization externally, building strong partnerships with key stakeholders and business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience within the FMCG and Consumer industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of driving business turnaround, transformation, or accelerated growth in dynamic market environments.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen with the vision to anticipate market trends and the discipline to execute effectively.
- Outstanding leadership and people management abilities, able to engage, motivate, and bring teams along a shared strategic direction.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working within matrixed, multinational organizations.
- A results-oriented, forward-thinking leader capable of balancing strategic foresight with hands-on operational excellence.
