Job Description

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world's largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

TSMC Corporate Planning Organization (CPO) plays a strategic role in TSMC's growth. We develop global planning and provide quick responsiveness to coordinate needs between factories and customers, driving for business effectiveness to bring world-changing innovation into reality.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Learn fundamental methodologies for designing flexible planning strategies.

2. Understand how to efficiently coordinate needs between factories and customers.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional team members.

4. Manage logistics service-related projects.

CPO covers the following organizations:

AB4BI

Empower business users with AI-driven solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and streamline operational efficiency.

Advanced Packaging Supply Chain Solution

Enable and enhance 3DFabric new business by integrating end-to-end process flows and systems, as well as make art-of-the possible technology easier for innovation and enrich connected data to drive informed decision-making.

Business Operations

Provide demand forecast for corporate revenue guidance and resource planning, and maximize customer demand fulfillment and fab capacity utilization through strategic capacity allocation and fab rationalization.

Integrated & Intelligent Planning

Provide intelligent, efficient, globalized, and agile planning solutions, from capacity build-up to delivery, by automating planning processes.

Operation Resources Planning

Timely provide trusted capacity to support customers success with effective cost and justified return via resources optimization(CapEx, Tool, Space, Talent). Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure TSMC's profitable growth and capacity leadership.

Production Planning

Planning and execution of Order-to-Ship process. Seamlessly team with Operations to achieve manufacturing excellence ,reliable delivery fulfillment to gain customers trust and accurate billing forecast/actualization to support executives guidance.

Strategic Planning

Provide comprehensive analysis augmented with AI-enabled business intelligence to support executive teams strategic decisions in pricing, customer engagement, global footprint expansion, etc.

Job Qualifications:

1. Majoring in Industrial Engineering, Business, Political Economy, International Relations, or closely related discipline.

2. Cross-functional/organizational project handling experience is a plus.

3. Intermediate or above level of communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

4. Logical thinking, teamwork spirit, and good communication skills.

5. Positive attitude in confronting difficulties and challenges.

6. Ability to work and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
