Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts, including internal templates, with a focus on retail, distribution, e-commerce, licensing and marketing, in accordance with internal guidelines and policies.
- Localization and implementation of Group's compliance programs and protocols.
- Organize and file contracts, court filings, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate and manage any potential litigation or regulatory action
- Conduct legal research and render legal advice regarding operational, commercial and general corporate matters under guidance.
- Support affiliates in the APAC region and overseas with contract reviews and other legal requirements as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience:
- 47 years of legal work experience in an in-house legal department of a multinational corporation, preferably within the ANZ region.
- Experience with a consumer brand, especially in the consumer durable industry, is a plus.

- Attention to detail, self-motivator, self-starter and with strong business sense.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills; adept at communicating contract concepts and legal terminology and information, both verbally and in writing, to legal and non-legal audience.

Others:
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is a must.
- A license to practice laws in Australia or New Zealand is a plus.
