Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing the Validation and Testing support. This is a key technical role responsible for the creation of test plan, test cases and test reports for the development activities as per the Customer requirement spec.

We are seeking a forward-thinking Software Engineer in Quality Engineering to help drive the transformation from traditional QA toAI-augmented, intelligent quality engineering

practices.

This role focuses on buildingautomation-first, AI-assisted testing solutions, leveraging and developingAI agentsto accelerate testing, improve productivity, and enhance release confidence across SAP , web, Devices, API, and data platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

AI-Assisted Testing & Automation

• Design and implement AI-assisted workflows for generatingtest cases, test data, and automation scripts
• Validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and reliability
• Integrate AI tools into the QA lifecycle acrosstest design, execution, and reporting

Agent Development & Workflow Automation

• Build and maintainAI agentsto automate QA tasks such as test generation, defect analysis, and test data creation
• Developend-to-end workflows(generate → execute → report)
• Optimize processes using agent-based approaches to improve productivity

Test Automation

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks with focus on:
  • SAP
  • Web, mobile, and desktop applications
  • Data validation
• Build scalable, maintainable automation solutions
• Integrate tests intoCI/CD pipelines

Quality Engineering Practices

• Implementrisk-based testingto prioritize high-impact areas
• Collaborate with Dev and Product teams forearly quality (shift-left)
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Additional Responsibilities

• Support SAP Test Automation frameworks using AI-assisted test case generation and validation.
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are met.
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT for CI/CD, version control, and secure deployments.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

Work Experience

Core Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills inJava / Python / VB Script
• Experience intest automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience inAPI testing and automation
• Understanding ofCI/CD pipelines
• Strong inUFTAutomation tool

AI & Emerging Technology Skills

• Experience withAI-assisted development/testing tools(e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT etc.)
• Basic understanding of:
  • Prompt engineering
  • Evaluating AI-generated outputs
• Exposure toLLM-based workflows, agents, or automation using AI

Testing & QA Skills

Strong understanding of:

• Test design techniques
• Functional and non-functional testing
• Defect lifecycle and root cause analysis
• Experience withrisk-based testing approaches

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Programming & Frameworks

• SQL
• Git (version control)
• VB Script / UFT tool
• Robot Framework with Python

SAP & Test Automation

• Experience working in SAP environments (SAP ECC / S4HANA preferred).
• Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, or FI.
• Exposure to SAP Test Automation tools such as: UFT
• Experience leveraging AI/GenAI forAutomated test case generation from business requirements ,Test script optimization andTest data generation
• Understanding of integration testing and regression automation in SAP landscapes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for automated testing.

License and Certifications

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
