About the role:

Cloud Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Cloud (GCP & Azure) Operations Support (70%)

1. Provide support for cloud migration projects and daily business operations, and coordinate project implementation and deployment.
2. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, optimize resource utilization, deliver high-quality work with a professional attitude, and manage and plan cloud-related tasks in a clear and structured manner.
3. Troubleshoot IT operation-related incidents.
4. Support the implementation and reporting of IT security standards and requirements.

System (Windows & Linux) Administration and Maintenance (30%)

1. Administer and maintain Windows and Linux (primarily RHEL) hosts, VMware virtualization platforms and storage infrastructure to ensure stable system operation.
2. Conduct server performance monitoring and capacity planning management.
3. Ensure compliance with server security configurations and manage system vulnerabilities.
4. Perform server backup management and disaster recovery drills.
5. Conduct system troubleshooting, root cause analysis and log management.
6. Provide relevant supporting documents in coordination with audits.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

1. Minimum of 5 years of IT-related work experience.
2. Over 3 years of cloud operations/design experience, plus 5+ years of IT experience in server infrastructure planning and deployment.
3. Ability to design cloud architectures that incorporate infrastructure and IT security components.
4. Hands-on experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and related CI/CD operations and system management, such as Terraform and Ansible.
5. Proficiency in business English for communication with regional teams.
6. Solid understanding of software development and IT operations.
7. Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes and monitoring solutions.
8. Possess a DevOps engineer mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with GitHub Actions.
2. Prior experience in information services for the financial and insurance industry is preferred.
3. Hands-on experience with GCP or Azure.
4. Familiarity with or maintenance experience in administrative tools such as PowerShell and scripting languages.
