Job Description

Role Summary

Oracle is hiring an OCI Cloud Infrastructure Sales Representative to grow new cloud business in Taiwan. This is a new-logo hunting role focused on Digital Native, Greenfield, and high-growth cloud-native accounts, especially in online-gaming, eCommerce, SaaS companies, AI-driven services, and other digital businesses currently running on AWS, GCP, Azure, or other public cloud platforms.

Why This Role Matters

In FY27, Oracle Taiwan is expanding OCI hunting capacity to capture a large public cloud TAM. Many target customers already have sizable cloud or AI spending, but they are also facing cost pressure, performance needs, multi-cloud complexity, AI deployment, and interest in AI/Cloud governess strategies. This role will help Oracle enter those accounts, challenge incumbent cloud providers, and create repeatable OCI wins.

What You'll Do

  • Build and execute hunting plans across priority segments - online-gaming, eCommerce, SaaS companies, enterprise AI deployments, and other digital businesses currently running on AWS, GCP, Azure, or other public cloud platforms.
  • Prospect into customers currently using AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other cloud / LLM services, and identify infrastructure cost-down, performance, governance, and AI deployment opportunities for OCI.
  • Build pipeline through direct outreach, industry association activities, developer workshops, partner sourcing, and targeted account campaigns.
  • Identifying target workloads with customers financial and technical decision makers (CEO/COO/CTO/CIO), validating technical fit, and driving PoC-to-commercial conversion.
  • Maintain disciplined weekly and daily prospecting activity, including target-account research, new contacts, new customer conversations, workload discovery, technical validation, next actions, and pipe creation.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven hunter profile with experience opening new accounts, creating pipeline from zero, and managing early-stage prospecting discipline.
  • Strong network or proven selling experience in digital-native segments such as online-gaming, eCommerce, SaaS companies, AI deployments, and other digital businesses.
  • Experience competing against AWS, GCP, Azure, other cloud / hosting providers, or AI / LLM service providers.
  • Ability to identify cloud and AI cost-down opportunities and translate infrastructure, AI inference, API, data, or application workload needs into commercial value.
  • Understanding of Cloud and AI trends, including multi-cloud, AI deployment strategy, enterprise governance, digital resilience, AI/Cloud governess and cost optimization.
  • Experience working with startups, developers, MSPs, SIs, or ecosystem influencers to source and progress opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

  • You create measurable new-logo pipeline across priority digital-native segments.
  • You open new conversations with target accounts every week and consistently map financial, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • You identify new OCI workloads for infrastructure and AI opportunities, and competitive displacement opportunities.
  • You work with cloud engineers to qualify workload fit, TCO, PoC path, and technical feasibility quickly.
  • You convert events, workshops, and partner referrals into qualified pipeline within two weeks.
