Responsibilities
1. Create leading high-tech, low-cost, large-scale cloud database products. Support the Volcano Engine and ByteDance business systems, and widely serve almost all core businesses within the group, including but not limited to Douyin, e-commerce, Toutiao, Feishu, etc. 2. Responsible for the design and development of cloud database products, research and development of next-generation cloud database products, continuous improvement in core product performance, stability, cost, persistence and other related areas, to support tens of billions of requests and massive users 3. Conduct in-depth research on new theories, new technologies, and new hardware from industry and academia, promote their implementation in the production environment, and enhance the overall competitiveness of products.
Qualifications
1. Have relevant development experience in the database field, and master the working principles of distribution, operating systems, networks, databases, etc. 2. Be proficient in using more than one C/C++/Go/Java, and have a good foundation in data structures and algorithms 3. Have programming and practical experience in high-performance, large-scale distributed storage systems, and pursue enterprise-level product quality 4. Have the ability to think independently, proactively discover and solve problems, have good communication skills, have sufficient curiosity about technology, have the ultimate spirit of research, and be willing to accept challenges. Priority will be given to those who meet the following conditions: 1. Those who master the source code of systems such as Redis/RocksDB/pika/Ceph are preferred, and open source community contributors are preferred 2. Those who are proficient in K8S and master the working principles are preferred 3. Those who are familiar with CXL/RDMA and other protocols, software and hardware integration and other technologies are preferred.
