The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the organization of research data, facilitate clinical audits, guide junior staffs and other ad-hoc duties as assigned in Department of Genomic Medicine.
Job Scope:
Provide administrative support for research projects and ensure timely coordination of project activities.
Organise and maintain research records, study files, and project documentation.
Liaise with sponsors and study monitors, and support monitoring visits and data reviews.
Maintain screening, enrolment, and withdrawal logs for study participants.
Coordinate patient appointments and follow up with patients on scheduled visits.
Arrange required tests and procedures, and remind patients of study-related requirements.
Prepare study documents before each patient visit and ensure records are completed accurately.
Maintain accurate, complete, and secure study data and documentation.
Ensure data is correctly transcribed and recorded in accordance with study requirements.
Coordinate the collection, labelling, storage, and shipment of biological samples according to protocol.
Manage quotations, procurement, and inventory of research equipment and consumables.
Monitor project budgets and expenditure.
Support project reporting and ensure timely submission of required reports.
Assist in research audits, compliance activities, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Participate in departmental, divisional, and hospital initiatives and activities as assigned.
Job Requirement:
Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Science/Nursing, preferably with relevant experience or exposure in a healthcare setting, health services, or health outcomes research or evaluation.
Prior research experience involving evaluation, health services or health outcomes research will be an advantage.
Strong capability in writing, formatting and generating summary, statistical and presentation reports.
Possess strong analytical, organising, coordinating, multi-tasking and facilitation skills.
Ability to demonstrate tact, judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential materials / information.
