Clerical Assistant

Clerical Assistant in the Department of Chemistry(Ref.: 532945) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language with at least 2 years relevant work experience. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) IT proficiency in MS Word and Excel good customer service skills a strong sense of responsibility the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels and to work independently and be self-motivated and hard-working.

The appointee will man the reception counter and answer telephone enquiries perform clerical duties including collating documents, operating office equipment, preparing letters and emails, delivering mail and perform other duties as assigned.
