Claims Administrator

Job Title : Claims Administrator

Location: Taipei

Reports to: Commercial Director Greater China

Salary: Competitive based on experience

A central role combining claims administration, client coordination, and proactive office support.

The Claims Administrator supports the smooth handling of claim cases and the overall daily operations of the office. The role involves registering and updating claims, maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with invoicing workflows, and contributing to financial and operational reporting. It also includes preparing correspondence and summaries, coordinating meetings, and communicating with clients on documentation and claim status.

Alongside claims work, the position provides essential office supportfrom managing daily administrative tasks and maintaining compliance files to coordinating calendars, meeting rooms, and vendor interactions. The administrator also assists with HR and accounting processes and helps onboard new team members, ensuring a wellorganized and professional office environment.

The ideal candidate is detailoriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills and basic financial literacy. While marine claims experience is beneficial, training is provided. This is an officebased role with possible hybrid flexibility, suited for someone who values teamwork and can adapt to changing business needs.

What You'll Need To Bring

  • Administrative excellence: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documents, filing systems, and office tasks efficiently.
  • Detail orientation: High attention to accuracy when handling claim data, documentation, and financial inputs.
  • Basic financial literacy: Understanding of invoicing, receivables/DSO, revenue and cost awareness, and timesheet processes.
  • Technical proficiency: Confident use of MS Office applications; experience with claims systems is an advantage.
  • Communication skills: Clear, professional written and verbal communication, with a clientservice mindset.
  • Time management: Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Team collaboration: Professional, supportive approach with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Willingness to learn: Openness to training in claims administration and operational processes, with or without prior marine experience.
