The incumbent will provide leadership to optimize, standardize and deploy Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) and its strategy, principles and practices in Taipei site. Lead and facilitate CI projects, EBS Strategy Deployment, OpA activities, and deploy ECIS through tactical activities and facilitation of kaizen events in major departments and areas. Develop ECIS deployment procedures and policies, sharing of best practices across the APAC region.

- Drive improvement in site processes and achieve targets on cost saving and other business metrics.

- Development of site ECIS knowledge, coach and grow site talent on Continuous Improvement (CI).

- Define, identify, develop and advance the plant capability and competency to the plant manufacturing strategy, vision and missions

  • Be responsible for ECIS cost out at Cost verse and support achievement of Plant monthly KPI and ensure process improved to achieve business goals and support growth.
  • Establish and execute plant level Annual Operations Plan (AOP).
  • Hold plant CI Council in the leadership team.
  • Manage ECIS / OpA Self-assessment and implement related OFA (to achieve business expected status)
  • Plan and facilitate plant Kaizen activity along with the Divisional / Regional CI champion, include:

- SGA (Small Group Activity)

- RIE (Rapid Improvement Event)

- CI suggestion system and leadership participation of leadership for CI culture cultivation

  • Responsible for CI Talent definition and development in the plant, in alignment with plant value proposition, business strategy and ECIS strategy
  • Establish and execute plant level ECIS assessment, advancement roadmap and related development/training plan for the whole plant, provide onboarding to new comers
  • Actively participation and promotion in CI communication (e.g., Newsletter, VIVA Engage, Best Practices Sharing, etc.)
  • Drive employee engagement and recognition
  • Work with divisional and regional CI function for synergy, be prepared to support rolling assignment CI responsibility

Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in technical field, industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent in Engineering or science field. Relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years experience in industry focus on improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodology with hands on experience in driving and facilitating projects/activities.
  • Expert knowledge of Lean production system and Six Sigma with the ability to develop programs
  • Demonstrated hands on experience using Lean and Six Sigma tools and delivered successful projects in an operational environment.
  • Strong experience in operations
  • Understanding of resource, capacity planning, and MRP, MES system.
  • Experience of Business Processes improvement in facilitating projects for IT, HR, Finance, SCM, EHS and other non-manufacturing functions is preferred
  • General understanding of Office 365 toolkit
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to lead team sessions and interface with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate passions of Continuously Improvement
  • Change Management skills and experience
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
