Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager with solid hands-on compliance expertise and a strong interest in technology and AI.

In this role, you will support key compliance activities across the organization, from regulatory monitoring and compliance self-assessments to policy updates and employee training. You will work closely with business and control functions to ensure regulatory requirements are effectively implemented across the organization.

We also see technology as an important enabler of a more effective compliance function. If you understand regulations and are interested in leveraging AI, digital tools, and automation to improve compliance processes, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the annual compliance program, including regulatory monitoring, compliance self-assessments, and updates to internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and their implementation across the organization, assess potential business and control impacts, and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs to strengthen compliance awareness across the organization.
  • Execute Group compliance requirements, including Conflict of Interest (COI), Whistleblowing, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) programs.
  • Partner with business and control functions to provide compliance guidance and drive appropriate remediation or enhancement actions.
  • Drive digitalization and automation of compliance processes and explore the use of AI and other digital tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within the insurance or financial services industry, preferably in a second-line control function or a relevant business function.
  • Solid knowledge of insurance regulations, anti-money laundering requirements, and other relevant financial services laws and regulations.
  • Strong regulatory interpretation, risk assessment, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, and project execution skills, with the ability to independently drive initiatives through completion.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to review regulatory, policy, and Group materials in English.
  • Hands-on experience with or strong interest in AI and automation tools—such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or workflow automation tools—is a plus.
