Job Overview And Responsibility
We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to help develop logic and multi-hierarchical memory technologies from SRAM based L2 cache, System Cache, DRAM and upto Flash technologies for AI use cases. These technology-systems designed are needed to improve power-performance-TCO for AI use cases across Qualcomm's products, from Mobile, Compute to server and ADAS products. The candidate should have understanding of AI algorithms and recent technology-architecture trends for E2E AI compute that involve CPU, NPU, multi-hierarchical memories and networks. He should be able to apply that knowledge to develop a detailed simulator that can help design Qualcomm's next generation SoC and platform architectures.
The candidate is expected to ingest the knowledge for Qualcomm's novel memory technologies and build a flexible simulator that is scalable to multiple technology components (memory types, packaging type, networking type etc.) and multiple product categories (e.g. datacenter, laptop, mobile).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of memory technologies from SRAM to Flash, including knowledge of partitioning these among chiplets and IPs.
- Good programming skills e.g. ability to model e.g. in Python, C++ or other languages,
- Good understanding of platform level AI use case KPI dependency on process and system architecture.
- Bachelors, Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to work without much supervision and as part of a team
- Most tasks do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach
- Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of AI relevant System and technology or related work experience. .
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of AI relevant System and technology or related work experience.

OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
