Role Overview
One of our leading AI research clients is seeking a Bilingual Traditional Chinese STEM Expert with strong foundations in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry to design and refine high-quality reasoning prompts used to evaluate advanced AI models.
In this role, you will create and assess Traditional Chinese and English STEM prompts and responses, ensuring scientific rigor, logical reasoning accuracy, and clear academic phrasing in Traditional Chinese while maintaining alignment with English where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in Traditional Chinese and/or English with detailed scientific constraints and multi-step reasoning requirements
- Define and document evaluation standards, including structured rubrics that assess scientific accuracy, reasoning quality, and linguistic clarity
- Conduct model testing and grading by evaluating outputs for correctness, reasoning depth, and clarity across both languages
- Support benchmarking and QA processes to maintain consistency, rigor, and reliability across Traditional Chinese STEM benchmarks
- Collaborate within a structured project environment to ensure high-quality deliverables
Minimum Qualifications
- Native-level written fluency in Traditional Chinese with strong English reading and writing skills
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
- Familiarity with undergraduate-level STEM concepts in your chosen field
- Strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or applied STEM work
- Experience designing assessments, academic content, or evaluation rubrics
Engagement Details
- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Approximately 1-month commitment
- Independent contractor role
- Fully remote, flexible schedule
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on needs and performance
