Description and Requirements
The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the CFO of the Solutions & Services Group. This role supports the CFO in driving business performance, enabling operational excellence, and ensuring effective execution of key finance and business initiatives. The COS acts as an integrator across functions, a problem‑solver for complex issues, and an enabler of the CFO's priorities to improve organizational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support the CFO in shaping SSG's financial strategy, annual plans, and long‑range outlook.
- Coordinate and track progress on strategic priorities, ensuring timely execution across Finance, BU teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Lead preparation for business reviews, strategy forums, board updates, and executive meetings.
2. Business Operations & Governance
- Streamline and improve financial and operational rhythms (e.g., monthly reviews, forecast cycles, budget processes).
- Establish governance frameworks to enhance transparency, accountability, and alignment across the Finance organization.
- Manage follow‑ups on critical action items to ensure momentum and closure.
3. Executive Advisory & Decision Support
- Provide high‑quality insights, analyses, and recommendations to support CFO decision‑making.
- Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, concise materials for senior stakeholders.
- Serve as a sounding board for the CFO and offer perspectives grounded in data, business understanding, and strategic thinking.
4. Cross‑Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.
- Partner with HR, Strategy, Operations, and BU Finance leaders to drive organization-wide initiatives.
- Represent the CFO in selected meetings and leadership forums, ensuring continuity and follow-through.
5. Special Projects & Transformation
- Lead or support high-impact projects such as process optimization, digital finance initiatives, organizational redesign, or M&A integration.
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, controls, operations, and reporting processes.
- Champion a culture of agility, collaboration, and performance within the Finance function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field MBA or professional qualification (CPA/CFA) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Consulting, or related areas.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial drivers, business models, and operational dynamics.
- Proven experience working with senior executives and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills.
