CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, ASI

AvanStrate Inc. | Display Glass Substrates

Location: Taiwan

Vedanta Limited is seeking a strategic divestment or partnership for its subsidiary, AvanStrate Inc. (ASI) — one of only four world-leading manufacturers of LCD glass substrates, backed by proprietary overflow technology, 700+ patents, and a debt-free balance sheet. Operating in one of the world's top three LCD manufacturing hubs, ASI is entering a disciplined turnaround phase to break even from its existing facility — ahead of any major expansion — by lifting output, sharpening product mix, improving price realization, and aligning incentives to performance.

This is a leadership role based in Taiwan, offering the opportunity to drive ASI's financial turnaround, strengthen governance, and build a scalable platform for long-term value creation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive business profitability and EBITDA improvement, leading budgeting, forecasting and performance management, and developing value creation plans and financial roadmaps
Improve cash generation and working capital, strengthen inventory turns and receivables management, and establish rigorous cash governance
Partner with the CEO and COO on business decisions, evaluate strategic investments and growth initiatives, and support commercial and pricing decisions
Strengthen financial controls and compliance, ensure robust operating reviews and management reporting, and drive transparency and accountability
Lead business model evaluation, support portfolio optimization, develop return-on-capital frameworks, and drive shareholder value creation
Work closely with the Board, shareholders and group leadership, manage banking and financing relationships, and support funding and capital allocation decisions

Candidate Profile: CA/CPA/MBA Finance with 15+ years of progressive finance leadership (CFO/Finance Director/Head of Finance), manufacturing exposure, and turnaround or restructuring experience preferred.
