Job Description
- Lead advanced FEA for static, dynamic, shock, and vibration loading
- Perform coupled thermo‑mechanical simulations for complex assemblies
- Drive simulation‑based DOE to study design and material sensitivity
- Model non‑linear behaviour including contact and anisotropic materials
- Predict fatigue, creep, and long‑term reliability using physics metrics
- Develop and validate advanced material models at elevated temperatures
- Correlate simulation results with physical test data
- Act as SME for structural integrity and mechanical reliability
- Mentor engineers and standardise FEA workflows and best practices
- Communicate results in design reviews and technical reports
- Support multiple projects in a fast‑paced engineering environment
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
- Master's degree or PhD strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in advanced structural FEA
- Expert in commercial FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran
- Strong background in non‑linear mechanics and solver strategies
- Experience with shock, vibration, and thermo‑mechanical analysis
- Proven ability to influence design through simulation insights
- Excellent English communication, written and verbal
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
