Your Job

We are looking for a proactive and highly collaborative Buyer to join our Purchasing team. This role will be responsible for material control, delivery follow-up, supplier coordination, cost negotiation, and cross-functional communication to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate is responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong ownership, timely follow-up, cost awareness, and the ability to identify supply risks and drive effective corrective actions.

This role will be based in Xindian, New Taipei City, Taiwan (on-site).

Our Team

You will collaborate with colleagues from Engineering, Quality, Material Control, Production, Project Management, and Finance, along with suppliers and subcontractors, including global teams in product development, manufacturing, and quality.

What You Will Do

  • Material & Delivery Management: Proactively track material status, follow up with suppliers, expedite critical items, and support pull-in requests to improve on-time delivery performance.
  • Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to manage delivery commitments, resolve supply issues, and ensure timely responses to internal delivery inquiries.
  • Cost Negotiation & Improvement: Support cost reduction activities by negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to improve cost competitiveness.
  • Order Management: Manage PR to PO conversion in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring compliance with internal purchasing processes.
  • Quality & RMA Support: Coordinate with QA, internal teams, and suppliers to support RMA return processing, follow up on vendor actions, and shorten issue closure cycles.
  • Supply Risk Management & BCP: Conduct supplier risk reviews, prepare regular reports, maintain supply chain BCP documentation to support supply continuity.
  • Issue Resolution & Corrective Actions: Investigate delivery delays, identify root causes, and work with suppliers and internal teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Outsourcing & Logistics Support: Support outsourcing coordination and emergency logistics activities to reduce operational errors, avoid delays, and control unexpected costs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material control, supply chain, or supplier management roles.
  • Experience in supplier cost improvement or BOM analysis activities.
  • Strong ownership in material follow-up, delivery control, cost awareness, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, urgent requests, and cross-functional issues under pressure.
  • Familiar with SAP, Oracle, or related ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English writing and verbal communication.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience in mechanical, connectivity, cable, optical solution, or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience using Power BI, AI tools, or supply chain management platforms.
  • Comfortable working across functions, initiating discussions, and driving alignment with different teams.
  • Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
