Business Unit Head Oncology

We are seeking a Business Unit Head to lead the Oncology franchise in Taiwan. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for strategy, execution and commercial performance across sales, marketing and distributor management.

Your impact

You will define and drive the strategic direction of the portfolio in Taiwan, ensuring excellence in launch execution, lifecycle management and sustainable growth. Working closely with cross functional partners and the General Manager, you will deliver strong commercial results while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.

You will lead, develop and inspire a high performing Sales and Marketing team, building strong capabilities and a culture of accountability. You will represent Ipsen with key external stakeholders including healthcare professionals, associations and partners, strengthening our reputation and long-term impact in the Taiwanese healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will own the Taiwan commercial strategy and P&L, delivering revenue and performance targets.
  • You will lead brand strategy, launch planning and execution across marketing and sales.
  • You will ensure strong cross functional collaboration with Medical, Business Excellence, Finance and regional teams.
  • You will develop accurate forecasts and business cases to support growth opportunities.
  • You will build and maintain trusted relationships with external stakeholders and partners.
  • You will coach, develop and engage your team to achieve sustainable performance and talent growth.

About You

  • You bring extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with a strong track record in people leadership and commercial delivery. You are comfortable operating in a complex, highly regulated environment and have successfully led product launches and portfolio growth.
  • You combine strategic thinking with disciplined execution, using data and insights to guide decisions. You are a credible leader who can influence across functions and build strong partnerships internally and externally.

Experience And Qualifications

  • You have at least ten years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including significant people management responsibility.
  • You have strong commercial acumen with proven P&L ownership.
  • Experience in reimbursement and self-pay markets is essential.
  • Exposure to specialty care, urology or neurotoxin products is an advantage.
  • A university degree in science, medical or business related disciplines is required.
  • Fluent Mandarin and a high level of English are essential.
