As a Business Transformation Consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner focused on the manufacturing industry, responsible for selling, designing, and delivering solutions by leveraging IBM's technologies and services (such as smart manufacturing, MES, AI, and IoT). A successful consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted partner in manufacturing transformation—someone who can engage closely on the shop floor, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver practical, implementable solutions to address complex operational and production challenges.
You will work on manufacturing transformation projects that help clients integrate strategy, production processes, technologies, and data systems (including work orders, equipment, quality, and supply chain data) to improve shop floor efficiency, reduce operational costs, and optimize throughput, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
