Job Objective:
- Drive process improvement, digitalisation, and data-driven decision-making across group levels (Singapore and Indonesia)
- Review existing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing digital solutions, and developing reliable management information systems.
- Key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening control mechanisms, and supporting business transformation initiatives across Singapore and the wider South-East Asia region.
Core Responsibilities:
Business Process Optimisation
- Review and diagnose end-to-end business processes across commercial, operational, and support functions.
- Redesign and streamline processes to improve efficiency, transparency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Establish structured workflows, standard operating procedures, and governance mechanisms where required.
Digital Transformation & Automation
- Lead and support digital transformation initiatives to improve business agility and operational effectiveness.
- Drive the digitisation of operational, commercial, and industrial processes.
- Work with internal stakeholders to implement digital tools that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and process control.
- Support system integration initiatives, including ERP, SAP, pricing tools, online ordering platforms, and business intelligence solutions.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of new processes and digital tools.
- Influence and engage relevant stakeholders to review, improve operational processes, and leverage technology across different business units.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to users during implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.
Job Specifications:
Minimum education qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in the Digitisation of Operational and Industrial Processes or Business Information Technology
Minimum years of experience:
- 10 years of demonstrated experience in the digitisation of operational and industrial processes
- Proven background in end-to-end business process diagnosis and redesign in international environments
- Track record of operating effectively within complex, culturally diverse organisational structures
- Prior exposure to the JV or South-East Asian (SEA) markets is a strong differentiator
- Experience in oil and lubricant industry is an advantage
Key job-specific competency requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in digital transformation tools and data analytics platforms (PowerBI, SAP, and similar)
- Experience with pricing tools, trade programme management systems, and ERP integration
- Familiarity with formulation optimisation platforms (e.g. Uncountable or equivalent)
- Ability to design and implement KPI dashboards and performance management frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- High influencing and communication capability - drive change without direct hierarchical authority
- Demonstrated change management and operational adoption skills
- Cross-functional, end-to-end business perspective
