Develop new business opportunities and sales pipelines at targeted footwear brands e.g. Nike, adidas and their suppliers by leveraging strong understanding of market trend and needs, value chain, competitions, Lubrizol strategies and capabilities mainly in Taiwan and South East Asia
Hunt opportunities mainly in new applications e.g. shoe sole foams
Lead and support cross regional opportunity development with other regional staffs in Asia and global
Develop new customers and partnerships that further strengthen long term business growth
Develop a growth strategy in the responsible areas and execute regionally and globally with in and external key stakeholders, including efficient and effective brand portfolio management, product development and positioning, pricing, business case developments, robust pipeline of new business opportunities
Develop and maintain multi-level business relationships with focused brands and relevant value chain players
Develop a thorough understanding of technology, applications, performance requirements of the target brands and customers to identify unmet needs and deliver unique and differentiated solutions
Understand segment's product portfolio and manage the life cycle by leading innovation new product development projects and convert to commercial sales by working closely with cross-functional team to meet key project milestones as both commercial owner and project leader
Develop and execute a regional promotion strategy at alignment with global segment and MarCom strategy including promotional and technical materials.
Support core business and sales growth where brand engagement makes a substantial influence.
Requirements
Around 15 years of marketing, sales, technical sales or business development experience in elastomers, plastics, rubbers, other specialty chemical materials preferably applications or product development experience
Proven track record in growing new business in global brands and value chain partners, preferably in footwear and/or consumer markets
Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new products, solutions, technology, and value selling programs at brands
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver professional presentations, communication & presentational skills
Experienced in leading other functional teams on commercial programs at excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to drive results from buying-in trust and motivation in a multi-culture, matrixed global organization
Good communication in daily works with customers and internal team members
Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual with a positive attitude
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
