The Opportunity

Our client is a well‑capitalized digital brokerage and wealth management platform with a global footprint across Asia. Singapore is the firm's strategic hub. It holds a CMS licence from MAS and offers a comprehensive range of investment products, including securities, collective investment schemes, and derivatives. Backed by a major multinational conglomerate, the firm employs over 400 people globally and serves over half a million users worldwide. It is also one of the first digitally native brokerages in Singapore to establish a physical branch presence. They are currently seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager – Taiwan Market in Taiwan.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and bring on board new channel partners within Taiwan, including financial institutions, agencies, and other relevant business alliances.
  • Cultivate and maintain durable relationships with partners to drive consistent sales outcomes and expand market presence.
  • Equip partners with product knowledge, joint marketing support, and sales tools to enhance their ability to sell effectively.
  • Implement channel sales strategies that align with company goals and contribute to achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Work closely with internal functions such as marketing, product, legal, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless partner support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management, ideally within Taiwan's financial services or technology sectors
  • Possesses a solid grasp of Taiwan's financial landscape, including banks, securities firms, insurance companies, and fintech players, as well as local regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills in native Chinese and fluent English
  • Self-driven with a practical, hands-on approach, sound business judgement, and the ability to operate independently. Willing to travel within Taiwan for partner meetings and events
