Our client, a global leader in industrial 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive market growth across Taiwan's advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
This is a consultative, customer-facing role where you'll work closely with leading semiconductor, consumer electronics, and high-tech manufacturers to identify new applications, develop strategic partnerships, and accelerate the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across semiconductor, consumer electronics, advanced manufacturing, and other high-tech industries.
- Partner with customers to understand their manufacturing challenges and advise on additive manufacturing strategies and applications.
- Conduct customer workshops and position consulting and technical services that support additive manufacturing adoption.
- Develop strategic partnerships and collaborate with industry stakeholders to expand market presence.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams to develop tailored customer solutions and project roadmaps.
- Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry conferences, exhibitions, and technical events while building thought leadership within the additive manufacturing community.
- Develop customer success stories, case studies, and market insights that showcase innovative manufacturing applications.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to execute business development strategies and drive sustainable growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the semiconductor, consumer electronics, data centre, or advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
- Proven experience in business development, strategic marketing, technical sales, application engineering, industry development, or market development.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and industrial production environments.
- Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders, translating engineering concepts into business value.
- Experience leading customer discussions, workshops, or cross-functional projects is highly regarded.
- Exposure to additive manufacturing or industrial 3D printing is advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to travel within Taiwan, with occasional regional and international travel.
