Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the marketing and sales activities of company's leading and owned technologies such as sustainable plastic recycling technologies including plastic to oil pyrolysis, rubber to product, sustainable plasticizer or bio solvent production, as well processes of Alliance partners for CO2 valorisation, energy driven technologies such as Biomethane or waste heat recovery in Far east.

With this activity, the Business development Manager will actively support the strategic development of the Chemical and Energy Industry of the company Group in Taiwan, Korea, Japan(Far East Region).

Project Development & Sales

Present, promote and sell Sustainable & Energy Technologies to existing and prospective customers.

1. Identify target customers based on identified industry segments.

2. Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers.

3. Conduct presentations and demonstrations, proof of concepts and any other related demonstrations relevant to sales.

4. Perform analyses of existing and potential customers needs and offer solutions that address their needs.

5. Prepare and calculate standard offer/quotations based on identified customer needs in line with company's standards, rules and regulations or as directed and submit for approval.

6. Support the functional manager for complex offers.

7. Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in close coordination with the functional manager and in line with company's standards, rules and regulations or as directed.

8. Contribute necessary information for prompt order registration and commercial handover to local and Procurement Center (PC) order processing.

9. Conduct regular sales planning and report it to the functional manager.

10. Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.

Development of waste and energy related business opportunities

Development of business opportunities for Sustainable & Energy Technologies.

1. Be well-versed on the target market, production processes, and technologies.

2. Document and share all pertinent information on local regulations and requirements to adapt our portfolio.

3. Provide input/impulse for the Industry team to conduct research by reporting market/process-related developments in the market.

4. Review research conducted by the Industry Team and give feedback.

Partner Liaison

Establish a good relationship with relevant partners.

1. Build close relationships with the responsible personnel of the relevant partners.

2. Attend product trainings and regional strategic meetings.

3. To assist on ad hoc tasks or projects as required by the management.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering

2. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in process technology

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

4. Experience in an international business environment

5. Working well under pressure

6. Working self-reliantly

7. Goal-oriented, dynamic and high sense of responsibility

8. Team and disciplined working spirits

9. Professional appearance and demeanor

10. Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Applications

11. Excellent written and verbal English skills

12. Readiness to travel frequently locally and overseas
