As the Business Development Manager (BDM) – Market Owner at Amphenol LTW (ALTW), you will hold ultimate accountability for your assigned global markets. This role is built for a hunter mentality—someone who thrives on driving scalable, diversified revenue growth through aggressive cold hunting and systematic new customer development across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
• Global Market Ownership: Own and drive growth across assigned markets globally without regional limitations.
• New Customer Acquisition: Systematically identify, cold-call/hunt, and close new customers to diversify revenue.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Function as the key orchestrator driving alignment across Sales, FAE/PM, R&D, and Marketing to close high-value deals.
• Pipeline Excellence: Maintain uncompromising discipline over pipeline integrity, lead validation, and execution speed.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
• Industry Experience: Proven background in the Electronics or Electronic Components industry.
• Hunting Capabilities: Exceptional Cold Hunting / New Business Development skills with a track record of opening doors with new accounts.
• Language Proficiency (Bilingual):
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Chinese are mandatory for stakeholder collaboration.
- Fluent in English: Professional English proficiency (written and verbal) is required for global business expansion.
• Boundaryless Growth Mindset: Track record in international business development. You think in global market ecosystems, not regions.
• Execution Discipline: Strict compliance with CRM tools and operational SLAs (e.g., Lead/DR validation within 24 hours).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
• Deep expertise or technical background in the Connector industry.
• Professional experience working within Electronics Distributors / Agencies.
• Proficiency in a third language (e.g., Japanese, German, or other European languages) is a major plus.
• Experience with distributor-driven account management (DR / MeetComp).
