Molex is seeking a Business Development Manager – AMD (Taiwan) to serve as the primary customer-facing commercial and execution leader for AMD activity in Taiwan. In this role, you will represent Molex at the center of account execution, coordinating with AMD, ODM partners, and internal Molex business units to support production ramp, demand alignment, pricing support, and customer escalation management.

This role is critical to Molex's success at AMD as the business scales across current and future AI infrastructure platforms. The successful candidate will combine strong customer relationship skills, commercial acumen, and cross-functional execution leadership to create mutual benefit for AMD and Molex. This position will operate at the intersection of business development, account execution, and strategic coordination, ensuring Molex is positioned as a preferred partner during periods of rapid growth and operational complexity.

Our Team

You will work as a key member of the global AMD account team led by the Global Account Manager. You will partner closely with account management, field application engineering, customer service, quality, product management, and business unit leadership to ensure alignment between customer demand, Molex capability, and execution priorities.

Taiwan is a critical hub for AMD manufacturing and business execution, including interaction with ODM partners and customer-driven priority setting. This role will provide a clear local front door for execution-related engagement while coordinating internal support across Molex functions and product teams.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact for AMD execution activity in Taiwan
  • Coordinate production ramp support, customer escalation management, and execution alignment for AMD-related business
  • Manage ODM-facing commercial and operational communication in support of AMD programs
  • Lead coordination of supply priority, delivery concerns, and execution risks with internal Molex stakeholders
  • Support pricing discussions and commercial negotiations related to Taiwan-based AMD activity
  • Align with Molex business units and product teams to ensure customer needs are understood and supported effectively
  • Partner with the Taiwan FAE and broader account team to respond to technical, operational, and commercial issues impacting the customer
  • Help manage demand coordination and execution communication when business originates through AMD directly or through customer / ODM build activity
  • Support internal visibility to customer priorities, ramp readiness, and account risks
  • Escalate critical gaps, delays, or fulfillment concerns in a timely and constructive way
  • Strengthen Molex's position as a preferred partner by building trust, responsiveness, and clarity with AMD and ODM stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic growth by maintaining strong local relationships and creating a disciplined path for current and future business expansion

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience in business development, account management, program management, sales, or customer-facing commercial roles
  • Experience working with OEM, ODM, contract manufacturer, or complex global customer support models
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across sales, operations, engineering, customer service, and product management
  • Strong commercial communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive alignment across a matrixed organization
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally as needed to support customer engagement

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting datacenter, AI infrastructure, high-speed interconnect, cable assembly, connector, or optical product lines
  • Experience working with Taiwan-based OEM/ODM ecosystems
  • Experience supporting customer production ramps, constrained-capacity execution, or supply-priority management
  • Experience leading customer-facing escalation management in a high-growth environment
  • Experience supporting pricing negotiations, delivery prioritization, and commercial issue resolution
  • Ability to work effectively across cultural and geographic boundaries while maintaining strong local customer credibility
  • Familiarity with AMD, hyperscale, or enterprise server ecosystems
