Job Description

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and implement a long-term growth strategy for the SMT fastening product portfolio across APAC.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with automotive OEMs, EV manufacturers, electronics producers, and key Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers.
  • Establish strong relationships with senior decision makers across engineering, procurement, and executive leadership to secure design-in and long-term supply partnerships.

Market Development & Account Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth through structured market penetration strategies and targeted account development initiatives.
  • Manage key strategic customers and ensure high levels of engagement across technical, commercial, and operational discussions.
  • Track pipeline development, conversion metrics, and revenue performance through CRM systems while providing strategic insights to regional leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with global product management, R&D, engineering, and sales teams to support product design-ins and technical solution development.
  • Align regional market requirements with global product roadmaps and facilitate technology adoption within key customer programs.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy

  • Monitor market trends including miniaturization, high-density electronics integration, and thermal management requirements.
  • Analyze competitor positioning, pricing models, and product portfolios to refine go-to-market strategies and strengthen competitive advantages.

Leadership & Industry Engagement

  • Lead and develop a high-performing business development team focused on SMT technology solutions.
  • Represent the organization at major industry events, technical forums, and trade exhibitions to strengthen market presence and industry relationships.

Sales & Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional marketing and sales teams to develop technical presentations, industry-specific campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives that support business growth.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of business development or commercial leadership experience within automotive electronics, industrial components, or related sectors.
  • Strong experience in SMT technology, electronic assembly components, or mechanical solutions used in electronics manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships, secure design-in opportunities, and drive market expansion within the automotive or electronics ecosystem.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex global projects.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across global organizations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce for pipeline management and performance tracking.
