Industrial Gases | HVAC & Refrigeration | Sustainability
A leading global industrial gas company serving the HVAC and refrigeration industry is looking for a RegionalBusiness Development Director to spearhead the growth of its Environmental Solutions business across Asia.
This is a newly created regional role offering the opportunity to build new markets, develop strategic partnerships, and shape the commercial strategy for a rapidly growing business focused on sustainability and the circular economy.
Initially an individual contributor role, this position has the potential to evolve into building and leading a regional commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the business growth strategy across Asia.
- Identify and penetrate new customers, partners, and distribution channels.
- Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs, refrigeration contractors, HVAC companies, industrial service providers, and recovery partners.
- Build business plans and go-to-market strategies for new countries and market segments.
- Lead commercial negotiations with key customers and strategic partners.
- Work closely with technical experts to develop customer solutions.
- Monitor market trends, regulations, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry events and develop a strong network across the region.

- Thailand
- Vietnam
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- South Korea
- India
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of business development, commercial, or sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record developing new business across multiple APAC markets.
- Experience building partnerships rather than simply managing existing accounts.
- Strong strategic planning and commercial negotiation skills.
- Comfortable operating in a standalone, entrepreneurial role.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across Asia.
