Your Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join our Media Group at PCCW. We are currently seeking a motivated professional with legal background to collaborate with our business teams in supporting strategic initiatives and business growth. Other responsibilities include:

Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements in relation to the acquisition, production and distribution of content, event organization, artist management as well as sales and marketing activities
Provide legal advice to business teams on media and entertainment matters, both domestic and international
Develop rapport with internal business units and supporting functions and be aware of their business objectives and needs
Carry out other commercial and legal related duties in alignment with strategic business plans and directions as determined by management and
Work closely with the Group Legal Team to ensure compliance with the relevant rules and regulations as well as corporate governance.

To Succed in this Role

A University degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications
A qualified lawyer with 4-6 years of post-qualification legal experience
General commercial legal experience. Familiar with IP and media & entertainment matters is an advantage
Good negotiating and problem-solving skills, solution oriented
Good business acumen
Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and different business units/supporting functions and
Able to work with minimal supervision, well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work under time pressure and be pro-active with positive attitude.
