The role: 

Our COP Commercial and Finance Team is looking for an experienced profile with knowledge from the renewable/infrastructure industry and experience within valuation, business cases, M&A processes and project finance. This role will be based in Taipei and will report to the Project CFO.

As a member of our global Commercial and Finance Team, you will become an important part of the company and have key responsibilities for the business case function for one of our Taiwan offshore wind projects.

The global functional team has a core team based in Copenhagen with satellite and project offices across the globe. You will therefore become an important part of a truly international company. The role will be focused on supporting the company's pipeline of Taiwan offshore wind projects and the role requires you to take ownership of the financial model and the assumptions on costs, revenues, financing and the return calculations, and convert this into clear management reports.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Business Case Management: Develop, maintain and operate business cases for offshore wind projects.
  • Financial Modelling & Analysis: Support financial modelling and valuation analysis of offshore wind projects Provide relevant financial analysis in relation to various decisions related to procurement and financing.
  • Project Financing: Participate in project financing processes incl. ongoing reporting to banks
  • Strategic Support: Support preparation of strategic decision material and financial updates to Senior management and Investment Committees.
  • Presentation & Visualizing: Assist preparation of presentation material either to our investors, potential partners, and/or government stakeholders.

Your experience: 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the energy sector or related fields including banking, M&A or transaction advisory with a focus on renewable energy. 
  • Experience with valuation, business cases, M&A processes and project financing, preferably within the energy sector. 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and create clear, compelling presentation materials that support strategic analysis for the commercial team. 
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Super user in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin is a plus
