Business Research and Analysis
- Conduct thorough research of allocated markets and sectors
- Prepare and share periodic updates with relevant teams highlighting critical insights
- Help identify market dislocation, emerging trends, with the objective of identifying investment themes/opportunities
- Prepare high quality review materials (memos, briefs, notes, etc.)
Investment Research and Analysis
- Supporting the relevant team to conduct market, financial, technical and legal analysis for specific investments being evaluated
- Assist in preparation of detailed financial models, investment notes, and management memos, and due diligence on investments opportunities
- Track investments and investment entities including their performance, budget comparisons, structuring, reporting, etc.
Portfolio Management
- Develop a deep understanding of the sector, market, competition and the portfolio asset or company's positioning in that context
- Support portfolio management team in monitoring, reviewing, reporting performance
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor performance against budgets, review variances and deliver insights to senior management through data-driven analysis
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly review reports
- Cross-department collaboration for business financial reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics (or a similar relevant qualification)
Experience
- 0-2 years relevant experience
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Good to Have:
- Previous research internships involving market analysis and report writing
- Advanced course work in Economics, Maths, Business or Accounting
- Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA / CA / ACCA)
