About The Team
Our Regional Operations team—comprising Customer Service, Return & Refund, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations, and Fraud—drives platform sustainability by ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience for buyers and sellers. The team defines and monitors key KPIs, analyzes performance gaps, and partners with local teams to drive improvements. The team also designs and executes strategic operations projects across Shopee markets, implementing initiatives across processes, people, technologies, and policies to optimize operations and enhance user experience.
Job Description
- Assist in designing and optimising end-to-end Returns & Refunds (RR) policies, processes, and system automations to create a smooth and efficient returns experience across markets.
- Collaborate with local teams and senior management to align RR strategy, balancing user experience, cost, and risk.
- Work with Product and Tech teams to apply technology and data for buyer risk profiling and determining RR privileges.
- Identify and address abusive buyer behaviors to minimise financial leakage and implement preventive controls that protect customer experience.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of RR initiatives post-launch, recommending improvements to processes and systems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience or basic knowledge in SQL is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to apply them to business challenges.
- Proactive self-starter with a passion for learning and contributing to meaningful business impacts.
- Ability to assist in coordinating tasks across various stakeholders, track project progress, and contribute to achieving goals.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, and collaborative environment.
