Business Analyst – Data Governance / Metadata

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams and support data governance, metadata management, platform implementation, testing, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and manage business & functional requirements.
• Define metadata models, business glossaries and governance processes.
• Create user stories, backlog items and release requirements.
• Support UAT, platform configuration and validation.
• Develop training materials and support user adoption.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Stewards, Architects and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in Data, Analytics, Data Governance/Management or Enterprise Data Platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Metadata Management, Data Governance and Data Catalogs.
• Experience with Agile delivery, requirements management and stakeholder engagement.
• Exposure to OpenMetadata, Collibra, Alation, Informatica or similar platforms is preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
