Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support application and database migration initiatives. The successful candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, translate business needs into clear functional specifications, and collaborate with development, testing, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for application and database migration activities.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, workflows, process documentation, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing and future-state business processes and system workflows.
- Collaborate with development, testing, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams throughout migration initiatives.
- Support testing cycles by preparing test scenarios, validating requirements, and maintaining requirements traceability.
- Assist with identifying dependencies, impacts, gaps, and risks associated with application and database migration.
- Prepare business documents, user guides, process documentation, and stakeholder communication materials.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within enterprise application or database migration projects.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Strong understanding of system workflows, integrations, and application behavior.
- Experience supporting testing, validation, and requirements traceability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer/stakeholder-facing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
