Job Description
About Pacific Electric
Founded in 1950, Pacific Electric has over 75 years of experience contributing to power and communication infrastructure across Taiwan and Asia, supporting national development projects, industries, and communities through reliable wire and cable products, system engineering, and integrated solutions.
Our current focus spans data, energy, and power solutions with an expanding portfolio in new energy, electrification, and automation. Bringing the same dedication to quality and reliability that built our foundation into the technologies and markets that will shape what comes next.
We are a company with a strong heritage and a forward-looking ambition, committed to empowering possibilities for the industries and people we serve.
About the Role
Pacific Electric is looking for a strategic, experienced marketing leader to head its Brand & Marketing function. This is a senior, hands-on role that spans both brand governance and commercial marketing; owning the department's direction, operating model, and performance outcomes.
You will lead and develop a growing team, manage cross-functional relationships across the organisation, and serve as Pacific Electric's primary marketing voice at the leadership level. The right candidate brings both strategic depth and executional credibility - someone who can set direction, build capability, and deliver results in a B2B manufacturing environment.
Employment Type
Full-time
What You Will Do
Strategy & Direction
- Develop and own Pacific Electric's brand and marketing strategy, aligned to the company's business objectives and long-term growth ambitions
- Translate business goals into clear, value-driven messaging for different customer segments including distributors, dealers, industrial customers, and industry partners
- Set the standard for how marketing decisions are made: insight-led, strategically grounded, and commercially accountable
- Monitor global market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to continuously inform and refine strategy
- Benchmark Pacific Electric's marketing activity against global industry standards - not just local ones
Brand Governance
- Govern Pacific Electric's brand standards - ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications and touch points.
- Oversee the brand review and approval process, setting the bar for what goes out under the Pacific Electric name
- Drive brand development and implementation across the organisation, working cross-functionally to ensure adoption and compliance at every level
Commercial Marketing
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives and sales targets
- Support new product launches with targeted campaigns, content, and sales enablement materials
- Own the marketing contribution to pipeline, lead generation, and distributor/dealer engagement
- Coordinate trade fair participation, customer events, and regional marketing activation
- Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance. Use data to optimize activity and demonstrate ROI.
Operations & Team
- Build and govern the department's operating model, workflows, SOPs, and ways of working cross-functionally
- Set and manage the marketing budget, ensuring spend is strategic, justified, and accountable
- Lead, develop, and grow the Brand & Marketing team - building capability, setting clear expectations, and creating a high-performance culture
- Manage external agencies, vendors, creative partners, and media relationships
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage productive relationships with Sales, HR, Finance, Product, Operations, and General Affairs
- Serve as the primary interface between the Brand & Marketing department and executive leadership
- Present performance, strategy, and recommendations to C-Suites and Chairman with clarity and confidence
- Establish and manage the formal cross-functional request and briefing process - ensuring marketing activity is strategic, not reactive
What We Are Looking For

- Proven experience building or restructuring a marketing function (not just managing one that already exists)
- Track record of owning and executing a marketing strategy with measurable commercial outcomes
- Experience translating technical or complex product knowledge into compelling, customer-facing messaging
- B2B or industrial manufacturing sector experience strongly preferred - experience in cable, electrical, or industrial equipment is an advantage
- Experience working within or alongside a global or regional marketing structure (multinational, group-level, or cross-market environment preferred)
- Experience managing and developing a team, including performance management and capability building
- Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and marketing budgets
Competencies & Leadership
- Strategic thinker and planner with strong commercial instinct - understands how brand and marketing directly impacts top-line revenue
- Strong data and tools literacy - uses insight and analytics to guide decisions, experience with project management and marketing analytics tools
