Brand and Communication Manager

You will be responsible for leading Primitive's external content and brand narrative. This role owns the what, when, and where of everything we publish from investment perspectives to media communications and serves as the editorial bridge between our research team and the broader industry.

• Own and drive Primitive's overall content strategy and brand narrative, including topic selection, publishing cadence, and distribution channels
• Maintain and continuously upgrade Primitive's owned media channels, including X (Twitter), Medium, and website updates
• Translate internal investment research, discussions, and memos into industry-relevant, highly readable content that is worth citing and sharing
• Collaborate closely with the research team to produce and manage bilingual (English & Chinese) content, including but not limited to:

1. Investment viewpoints and market / sector research summaries
2. Conference recaps and investment thesis updates
3. Press releases, news updates, and media interview materials

• Build and maintain strong media relationships, monitor public sentiment, and ensure consistent, high-quality exposure for Primitive's investment portfolio and team perspectives
• Plan and organize high-quality conference side events and small portfolio company gatherings that align with Primitive's brand tone and positioning

• 23 years of experience in Brand, Content, PR, or Investor Relations within technology, crypto, or financial industries
• A solid, working understanding of Crypto / Web3 / technology ecosystems
• Excellent written communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and express informed judgment
• Strong editorial intuition around what is worth publishing and why
• A socially confident communicator who is responsive, articulate, and comfortable representing the team in high-frequency external interactions
• Ability to grow and perform in a fast-paced, high-context, judgment-intensive environment
