Board Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop server hardware solutions, including motherboard and subsystem designs.
• Participate in schematic review, component selection, and hardware architecture implementation.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and verification activities.
• Analyze and resolve hardware-related issues throughout product development and mass production stages.
• Collaborate with BIOS, FPGA, BMC, thermal, mechanical, and system integration teams.
• Support product qualification, reliability testing, and design improvement initiatives.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure product quality and successful production ramp-up.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer and field-reported hardware issues.

Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in hardware design and development.
• Knowledge of digital circuit design and hardware debugging methodologies.
• Familiarity with server, workstation, PC, or embedded hardware architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with server motherboard design.
• Familiarity with DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, BMC, power design, or signal integrity concepts.
• Experience with hardware validation and reliability testing.
• Knowledge of AI server, data center, or hyperscale platform technologies.
• Scripting or programming experience in Python, C, or C++.
• Good English communication skills.
