Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop server hardware solutions, including motherboard and subsystem designs.
- Participate in schematic review, component selection, and hardware architecture implementation.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and verification activities.
- Analyze and resolve hardware-related issues throughout product development and mass production stages.
- Collaborate with BIOS, FPGA, BMC, thermal, mechanical, and system integration teams.
- Support product qualification, reliability testing, and design improvement initiatives.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure product quality and successful production ramp-up.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer and field-reported hardware issues.
Skills & Experience
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in hardware design and development.
- Knowledge of digital circuit design and hardware debugging methodologies.
- Familiarity with server, workstation, PC, or embedded hardware architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with server motherboard design.
- Familiarity with DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, BMC, power design, or signal integrity concepts.
- Experience with hardware validation and reliability testing.
- Knowledge of AI server, data center, or hyperscale platform technologies.
- Scripting or programming experience in Python, C, or C++.
- Good English communication skills.
