About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence & Strategy team. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights, uncover business opportunities and risks, and support strategic decision-making across global operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineers to drive data-informed growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze customer behavior, business performance, and operational metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
2. Investigate business anomalies and performance fluctuations through deep-dive root cause analysis, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
3. Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, automated reports, and dashboards using SQL and Python.
4. Translate complex analytical findings into concise business insights and executive-level recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with business, product, and data teams to define analytical frameworks and support strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

1. 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy Analytics, or a related analytical role.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, data automation, and reporting).
3. Proven ability to perform root cause analysis, identify business trends, and solve complex business problems using data.
4. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
5. Fluent in English and Mandarin; experience in Fintech, Trading, Banking, Cryptocurrency, or other financial services industries is highly preferred.
