Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for various applications.
Analyze system requirements and design efficient, scalable solutions.
Manage databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
Integrate AI services into backend systems.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and security.
Collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.
Maintain technical documentation for backend systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in backend development and system analysis.
Proficient in server-side languages like .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or Ruby.
Experience with databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Cantonese.
