Responsibilities
- Lead a team of data translators responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and data analytics teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, data scientists, and IT, to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Develop and implement data translation strategies to ensure seamless communication and alignment between business and technical teams
- Mentor and guide the data translation team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data translation activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data translation, providing guidance and support to the broader organization
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the bank's data strategy and governance framework
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a data-driven role, with a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering
- Proven track record of leading and managing a team of data professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address data-related challenges
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Familiarity with data management and governance best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
