AVP, Investment Counsellor, Private Bank

We are partnering with a well-established Asian Private Bank that is looking to strengthen its Investment Counselling team in Singapore. This opportunity is suitable for junior investment advisory professionals who enjoy working closely with Relationship Managers and high-net-worth clients across SEA and GC markets.

The role focuses on providing holistic investment advisory and portfolio solutions to HNW/UHNW clients across multiple asset classes, while supporting the bank's growth and investment platform expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise HNW/UHNW clients across Asia on portfolio and investment strategies
• Provide asset allocation and portfolio construction recommendations aligned with house views
• Cover multi-asset solutions including Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, FX and Structured Products
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers on client acquisition and portfolio reviews
• Monitor market developments and proactively identify investment opportunities
• Support portfolio rebalancing and risk management discussions with clients
• Conduct investment presentations, market updates and internal training sessions for RMs
• Ensure advisory activities are aligned with internal governance and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Investment Advisory, Investment Counselling or Portfolio Advisory within Private Banking or Wealth Management
• Strong knowledge across multi-asset products and portfolio construction
• Experience advising HNW/UHNW clients within Private Banking environments
• CFA or other investment-related qualifications would be advantageous
• CACS Paper 1 & 2 Completed
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Team-oriented with a strong interest in investments and market strategy
